Senate Bill 658, also known as SB 658, is legislation that would provide over $90 million in additional funding for charter school facilities in our neighborhoods over the next five years. By providing more funding for school facilities, Green Dot will have a stable source of financial assistance to cover the cost of rent for school buildings. Such support will free up our current operating revenues to go to schools, where we can truly make a difference in student achievement. SB 658 ensures that our schools have permanent locations so that we can provide a more stable learning environment to our students. SB 658 brings more resources to the entire LA educational community.
